had an horrible exprience when printing my thesis.
i forgot to set the printer to print on both sides of the paper. so i wasted my print papers, and went back for more, and had to wait in queues to get the job done.
i really needed to learn to handle details. my major problem is that i have no fun when handling details, or executing routines. but i’ve had enough failures to tell me that being over creative without enough caution and patience is a disaster.
Details are most effetively handled when you put them into a routine and follow it. Routines are always needed to secure the stability of the running of your life.
(Write those sentences here to remind myself.)
Speaking of routine, today in the thesis defense i again broke away from it. firstly i throw my written script when i had the chance to read it. then i focus my presentation on 2 of my new ideas. Little work has been done in their implementation, or, demonstration of implementation. For me, i always prefer the creativity, for the teachers, i don’t know. But since i will pass anyway, it’s good to take this chance to try out something wild.
OK, maybe this something means nothing. Anyway, the defense ends now. let’s move on:)
